About Jennifer
Hi, I’m Jennifer (she/her)—a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with a passion for fertility care, hormonal health and whole-person healing. I’ve spent over a decade helping people reconnect with their health—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—using a mix of ancient wisdom and modern integrative care.
A Note from Me to You
Wherever you are in your healing journey, I’d love to support you. Whether you're navigating fertility challenges, big life transitions, or chronic pain, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan that meets you where you are. Healing is possible—I've seen it happen over and over again, and I believe in your capacity to heal, too.
We all need guidance and support at different times. I’ve worked with people through all sorts of life phases—from trying to conceive and pregnancy, to healing after loss, to finding balance in the chaos of everyday life. I truly believe that when we cross paths, it’s for a reason. I'm honored to walk a piece of the path with you.
Creating a welcoming, inclusive space is deeply important to me. I work with people of all sexual orientations, gender identities, body sizes, ages, races, ethnicities, and spiritual backgrounds. You are welcome here—just as you are.
Education & Experience
I’m a Board-Certified Integrative Fertility Specialist (American Board of TCM Reproductive Medicine/FABORM) and licensed acupuncturist with a Master’s degree in Classical Chinese Medicine. My training includes over 3,500 hours of classroom and hands-on experience, plus mentorship with Dr. Jeffrey Yuen—an 88th-generation Daoist priest and master of Chinese medicine.
Before that, I earned a Bachelor’s in Social Work and spent a year in Guatemala working with an indigenous herbal medicine program that served Mayan communities—an experience that deeply shaped my approach to healing.
Over the years, I’ve co-founded the first Chinese medicine clinic in Madison County, provided acupuncture at a substance abuse recovery center, and built my own private practice in Asheville. I love the work I get to do every day.
Integrative Fertility Focus
Fertility care is one of my biggest passions. I’ve completed an in-depth mentorship in Integrative Fertility and Reproductive Medicine and continue to study both the Eastern and Western sides of reproductive health. I also bring personal experience to this work—I used both Eastern and Western care to conceive and carry my daughter through reciprocal IVF, and I love supporting others on similar paths. I seek to be a blend of grounded knowledge in both Western and Eastern fields so I can help guide you through the fertility journey with informed decision making.
Mind-Body-Spirit Healing
I approach healing holistically. Alongside Chinese medicine, I’ve trained in:
Ceremony and Rites of Passage through the Somatic Wilderness Therapy Institute
Feng Shui
HeartMath techniques for stress, anxiety, and emotional balance
Andean healing traditions through a mentorship with Don Oscar Miro Quesada’s organization, THOTH.
Daily spiritual practice is part of how I stay grounded and connected to what matters: service, inclusivity, and peace.
Ongoing Learning
I’m always learning and growing. Here are some of the advanced fertility trainings I’ve completed:
Acupuncture for Pre- & Post-Embryo Transfer
Fertility, the Nervous System & Mental Health
Fertility-Boosting Nutrition, Supplements & Lifestyle
