Your Journey to Healing
Acupuncture works with the body's natural ability to heal itself. It's similar to when you get a cut, the body knows exactly what to do without your thinking about it. The body is an intelligent self-healing system that responds well to acupuncture. Acupuncture points (there are 361to choose from!) are uniquely selected to the individual and condition. Acupuncture can clear physical and emotional blockages, such as illness, pain, anxiety, stress and old traumas. In general, acupuncture is very strengthening to the nervous system, which translates to a strong and resilent mind, body and spirit.
When to Use Acupuncture:
Pain of All Types: back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain
Fertility Support: conception, IVF and IUI support and pregnancy
Womb Work and Menstrual Cycles
Anxiety, Depression and Stress
Clarity and Direction
Grief Support
Nervous System Healing
Digestive Health
Immune System
Pre and Post Op Recovery From Surgery
Did you know acupuncture is a sophisticated and thorough form of medicine that requires a 4 year full-time graduate degree and board certification to start to practice in the US? In addition, every 2 years more continuing education is required to stay licensed. It may seem mysterious, but it takes many years of learning and training to use acupuncture effectively. When you are working with a licesened acupuncturist, you are in good hands!
Holistic Coaching
Incorporated into many of my acupuncture sessions, as well as a stand alone offering to go deeper, holistic coaching is one of my passions. I’m trained in intuitive reflective listening and am able to offer perspectives that can add a sense of clarity, movement, healing and meaning. I pull from multiple modalities that I have extensively studied and I tune in to which of those might be needed for a particular person.
Modalities I may use include:
Customized Dietary Plans and Lifestyle Modifications
Individualized Herbal Medicine and Supplement Recommendations
Heart-Math and Mindfulness Principles
Feng Shui and Five Element Therapy
Nature based Therapy Practices
Ancestral Healing
Ceremony and Rites of Passage Work
Recovery Model Work
Creative Planning, Visioning and Goal Setting
